We’re so proud to share some exciting news!
The Ascot Day Centre has been nominated for the King’s Award for Voluntary Service – the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK!
We truly couldn’t do what we do without our amazing volunteers. Together with our Manager, staff, and Trustees, they create a warm and welcoming place for the older residents of Ascot, Sunninghill, and Sunningdale – a space where friends can meet, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company.
We’re always on the lookout for more volunteers to join our incredible team (and it’s lovely to know we’re not the only ones who think they’re special! ).
Yesterday, we collected our nomination certificates and were so warmly welcomed by the Lord Lieutenant and his team. It was inspiring to be in the company of so many other wonderful charities doing incredible work in their communities.
Thank you to every single volunteer – past and present – who has made this possible. This nomination belongs to all of you!
